EnableUtah currently provides janitorial services for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the US Forest Service, the Juvenile Court in Ogden, three Midtown Community Health Centers, the Ogden Police Department and Valley Glass in Ogden.
Both the IRS and Forest Service are AbilityOne contracts that are designed to provide employment opportunities for Americans who are blind or have other severe disabilities. These contracted services are provided by nonprofit agencies such as EnableUtah.
When a person with a disability is employed, it improves their self-worth and provides an opportunity to become a productive member of our society. The benefits to the community are additional taxpayers and fewer tax-consumers.
